Community Crisis Co-Response Informational Webinar

The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) re-issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the implementation of a Community Crisis Co-Response (CCCR) Program. The Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is available under the "Department for Medicaid Services (DMS)." All applications are due by Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. ET. Each grantee may receive up to $775,000 through the grant period, with a 10% match for Years 1 through 3, up to 50% of which may be in-kind contributions. Funding is intended to support awardees in the planning, development, and creation of new co-response programs across the Commonwealth. Awardees will develop and implement infrastructure to support Co-Response Units (CRUs) that partner law enforcement or other first responders with embedded behavioral health resources. The CCCR is intended to lower the distress of individuals in crisis and avoid unnecessary hospitalizations and incarcerations. Eligible applicants are encouraged to attend the upcoming CCCR Informational Webinar: on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 2-3 p.m. ET. For more information, email kymobilecrisis@ky.gov.
