The Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills Police Department will host a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) basic physical defense instructor certification course June 19-21. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified to reach the R.A.D. system of basic physical defense. The program includes physical defense workouts for technique development and an evening exercise that is designed to simulate confrontational circumstances.

The tuition is $550 and registration includes a 200-plus page instructor curriculum with a participant manual to copy.
