Media and Public Relations Course


The Louisville Metro Police Department and FBI-LEEDA will host a Media and Public Relations (MPR) Course Oct. 6-10 at the Louisville Metro Police Department Training Academy, located at 2911 Taylor Blvd. The week-long intense curriculum has been developed to assist law enforcement in communication with the media and communities they serve. The course is suitable for chiefs and commanders who may deal with the media on a regular basis and full- and part-time law enforcement public information officers. The class will provide proven strategies and best practices for media relations, crisis communications and social media. The class will feature several desktop and on-camera exercises.
