The Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center (KIPRC) is offering another Overdose Mapping Application Program (ODMAP) webinar for public safety personnel, including law enforcement, on Wednesday, May 2, at 11:30 a.m. This is a free, web-based data system that allows state and local public safety agencies to track the occurrence of drug overdose events in their jurisdiction and in surrounding jurisdictions.
The system allows users to monitor the number of overdose events within a particular time frame and to see the approximate location of those events on a map. Users can also be notified of unexpected increases (spikes) in overdose events within their jurisdiction. This free webinar will provide public safety administrators and emergency responders with answers to important questions, including:
What can ODMAP do for my agency?
What data can we get from the system?
How do we get access to ODMAP?
How do we add individual users?
How do we create spike alerts?
What other features does ODMAP offer?
